Sound:

Another solid performance. Not hitting the heights of the Boston run but still an enjoyable listen. Sound is slightly distant and muddy with slight tape hiss and the bass can sometimes overload the recorder causing slight distortion. Listed as being from the master, but highly unlikely. There is also an unverified 3rd Gen tape transfer that sounds identical to this (I haven't heard it) and is thought to be closer to the truth. The spectral view shows a cut off at 16kHz whereas EVSD's "New York In The Wind" has a full spectral up to 22Khz but it's incomplete and worse sounding. It's possible this has originally been transferred from a 32kHz DAT, but that is just a theory.
