Sound:

An incomplete short tape, but an excellent performance building on the show from earlier in the afternoon. Quality is very good with some occasional very minor distortion at times on the high end. Page's guitar seems to go on the fritz briefly towards the end of "Dazed and Confused", making him quiet for a moment. When he comes back in, he first comes in with a clean guitar sound, and then he comes in louder than he was before he went out. Perhaps a problem with his pedal, or maybe the mic in front of his amp had temporarily fallen? It seems Empress Valley took this version and used it for their "Zeppelin Is A Gas" release.

Revision Notes:
The original source is unbalanced and suffers from clipping. The right channel is stronger than the left and doesn't clip as much, this being a mono recording the best solution was to copy the right channel to left as this took care of the channel imbalance and part of the clipping. Speed has been corrected using a 96.6% stretch.

Original Notes:
These are the definitive untouched versions of the audience recordings from Led Zeppelin's 1969 Scandinavian Tour, unless something else has popped up that I missed! These discs were treed years ago by the great RFD. I do not know the number DAT copies in the lineage. I do know there is no CDR copy in the lineage of my discs, think that 3/15/69 DAT came from the taper & know that the bootleg company EVSD stole this from the tree. The files were extracted from Kodak Gold CDRs with EAC V0.95 beta 4 & converted with FLAC Frontend 113b at Level 8.
